Senator's vendetta against desert park managers continues April 1, 2004 Then-Assemblyman Morrow was cited by park rangers in the late 1990's for driving his state vehicle off-road past obvious closure signs during a protest against the Coyote Canyon road closure. "No one really doubts that Morrow's bills have little to do with legitimate lawmaking, and much to do with revenge against State Park managers," said Center spokesperson David Hogan. The bills are now scheduled for hearing by the Senate Natural Resources
and Wildlife Committee on Tuesday, April 13th, 9:30am, Room 112 of
the Capitol. (end) |
